National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

The first Nature Helps hike will be raising money for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-TALK (8255) is a 24-hour, toll-free, confidential suicide prevention hotline available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.

We’re at Erwin, North Carolina about at the 340 mark. We should be at Elk Park North Carolina in 4 days and then in Damascus, Virginia 5 days after that.

Coolest happening –
I braved a hail storm shirtless for 6 miles, why? Because that’s what “Spidderman” does.

Newest Pain –
Shin splints in both legs.

The adventure will continue

So, a new person will continue the blog for Nature Helps on the trail. Not only is he cool and better looking than me, but his beard is bigger to. So, updates will be weekly now and we will continue to try and raise more money for charity. Here’s a picture of him and we will have more from him soon.
